Can't we focus on getting behind our own team first? I'd rather not give Browne the pleasure, and the team deserve more vocal praise, support and encouragement than they currently get at league matches, so let's focus on getting behind them first.

Not the first time it has been mentioned/discussed...

 

It is essential that we support OUR team first, and leave the barracking of Steve Browne until the game is completely sewn-up (eg four goals up with ten minutes to go <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />).

 

Positive encouragement for the Rebels players is much more likely to produce the desired results. Verbal attacks on the Dover players/SB is more likley to encourage them to fight back, and make the game tougher for our lads.

Make sure we all take note of it then. I'm all for giving Browne stick, but only after we've got control of the game comfortably.

Having reflected on this match over recent weeks I don't think there is any need to give Browne stick at all.

 

During his reign I don't think we ever sang "Stevie Browne's Rebel Army" - the reason being even when we were getting results we did not seem to be moving forward in a positive and constructive way.

 

I think we can all agree that Eddie has done a fantastic job throughout the last two seasons and I for one feel that we can see the team developing and improving regardless of results and league position. So come Saturday 11th let's just stick to the usual array of songs and a few hearty renditions of Eddie Denton's Rebel Army.

 

We will show Steve that we support the team and the manager something that he never got because frankly he was crap.
