why did we bother buying a player with league experience and still use wilko. as i have been told pullen managed to score a goal from the other side of the pitch and still is left on the bench. if what i have been told is true why don't we use pullen and put wilko onthe bench.

It has only been two games, and just cos he was from a league club, he's far less experienced than Wilko. Played only two or three league games, I think, so I'm sure Fordy will ease him into it gradually, and probably has his eye on Pullen replacing Wilko later in the season or early next.

Well, actually I thought there was little wrong with Wilko's performance against Woking, and indeed in general over the last few weeks. Granted, his kicking is erratic, which we all seem to be agreed on, but I can't agree that his recent performances have been so bad that he definitely warrants being dropped. That's not to say that there's no case for bringing Pullen in, but it shouldn't be a foregone conclusion in my view.

Agreed - Wilko has woken up the last couple of games - who knows he may come off his line soon! sorry - not so subtle dig! but all in all wilko deserves to keep his place at the moment - im sure Pullen is ready and waiting at the first mistake from Wilko!

Not always the case. He can be a little shaky at times, but not every time he plays.

But when he does have the cheek to be off his line, like for Hawley's exquisite lob over him the other week which he could do nothing about, he gets slated by certain sections of the crowd. To be honest, the anti-Wilko brigade behind the goal, however small it is at the moment, is really starting to get on my wick.

Certainly not us and the younger element by the drum - Wilko couldnt get more support from us. Its the same 3 old chaps giving every player negative comments every time they get the ball - whether Drury, Wilko, Moore - very childish.

Yeh, some of the older men in the crowd are the most guilty of the slating from what I see. Same few every game.
