So what do the goverment / police do about it?, you've guessed it, double the fine from 30 quid to 60.

What do you want the Police to do.......cut the offenders hands off?...The Police(whom you seem to blame for everything)can only uphold the punishment handed down by the courts which in the end is handed down by the Government!

Saw a bloke today negotiating a roundabout in his motor, smoking, using a mobile, reading a map and no doubt trying to change gear at the same time as well. Absolutely unbelievable.

 

What on earth use was the £30 fine for using a mobile. The 3 points is definitely a move in right direction. Even £60 is pocket money. Make it £500 or even a grand and perhaps these p..cks will start getting the message.

Next door are in the US of A on holiday and Monday evening their burglar alarm burst into life

I had a good look allround and then called the police, they gave me a crime desk number but said they do not attend alarm calls unless there is physical eveidence of break in and would I just keep an eye on the situation

I asked would they attend if I had evidence the burglar had been seen speeding on his way to "work"

They were not amused

Get your facts right, I have never answered my mobile in the car whilst driving. So I am not moaning as I have never done it, just peeved with this goverment dictating again.
