New Signings??

Does anyone think there will be any further new signings (apart from trialists) before the campaign begins in earnest? I would imagine that we'll need another keeper, and I'd still love to see an experienced striker on board. But that's only my personal opinion!!

Well, having missed out on Phil Smith, I'm sure that Andy is still in the hunt for a 'keeper.

 

As for strikers, I'm afraid Andy claimed in the 12th July Gravesend Reporter that he would have to sell one of our current forwards in order to acquire a new one. Personally, I would suggest that Andy sticks with Che, Liam, Boothy, Wilko and Simon, for I believe they all have something to contribute this season. <img src="/forums/images/icons/smile.gif" alt="" />

That's fair comment, although will SImon Parker be around much next season? If not, it only needs a striker or two to pick up injuries and we'll be a bit thin on the ground. Other than that, I do agree that the players that earned the place in the Conference deserve the opportunity to show what they can do at that level. It will certainly be interesting to see just how big a gap in class there is between Confernece and the Ryman. Roll on August!!

that new french striker that welling have signed looks quite sharp, what about the player luton have released and is currently down at hastings, he would be an nice addition to the front line???

Or even jake le berl from dover, currently on trial at bristol city???

The new French striker that Welling have couldn't make the first team for Hampton & Ricmond last season. (I believe that he was on the bench when we went there)
