Following on from Daly's magnificent 200 up this season, the following players might make it to 100 Slough appearances this season:

 

Veli Hakki - 84 apps (75+9) at start - 9 this season so far(5+4 sub) - 7 to go

Ryan Spencer - 75 apps (68+7) at start - 17 this season so far (13+4 sub) - 8 to go

Ian Hodges - 62 apps (59+3) at start - 13 this season so far (13+0) - 25 to go

 

& possibly:

 

Christian Metcalfe - 47 apps (40+7) at start - 21 this season so far (21+0) - 32 to go.

48 goals in 62 appearances? 0.77 goals per game (or 1 goal every 1.29 matches) is bloody fantastic! How does that compare with other Rebels strikers over the years? Booty must have racked up a good ratio in his time with us.

I think we have had this question on a previous thread. I would suspect that Booty and Westy would also have excellent raitos.

Alan Smith is clearly the bloke to ask for the definitive answer. I suspect there is someone from the "old days" who will have a ridiculous record.

I suspect Mets, has a very slim chance of making it this season. He would need to play every league game and a further six cup ties to make it. Given the number of bookings he picks up I think he would be hard pressed. Save that one for next year.

Right, since 90/91 season and using a start = 1, sub appearance =0.5 to work out the goals to games ratio, we have the following:

Good to see Coombs, Samuels and Nabil all supposed strikers below McPherson, Gyoury and Howard...

Out of interest, who (excluding keepers) has played most games without scoring for the club? Might I be right in thinking Deji Davis may be near the top as far as strikers go.
