Tough It Out

Things seem a bit tough at the moment with recent results but we are not the first to have a bit of a lean spell.

We have had a good start but recent results have left us a little close to the relegation area. Saying that, two or three wins puts us in the play off zone so there’s not much between it all

Only observation I can make today, wonder if Keeling instead of running down the line, would receive the ball and run across the field towards the middle of their area, like Southend’s Gower done to us. Then we could link up with Minton or Ollie who has a good touch to put others through.

The lads have done really well to get to this position in out first ever attempt.

No easy games in this division, but we will need to scrap a bit during December to get those points on the board.

Keep it going boys!

We really did miss a natural forward on Saturday and the loss of Lee and Junior is telling a little bit.

Once we have them back we will claw back a few hard earned points I'm sure.

I think Keeling also links up well with Williamson who plays a nice quick ball, to feet, which is straightforward and direct - nothing too fancy.

Can understand your point about Keeling - I just can't understand why he has not started or has been subbed lately.

i for one am very disapointed with the level of football in the conference and how quickly we have stooped (like all other teams) to a long ball from the back. maybe it is because more mistakes are punished so a good hoof gives a defender the its not my fault mentality or maybe it is necersary to play this type of football. all i know is that its not as much fun to watch and the only two teams we have played this season that played the attractive style of football we used to play (Hereford and Crawley) have ripped us apart.

As Jon Bon Jovi sang "keep the faith". It will come eventually. It's a case of battling and plugging away and I'm sure eventually the luck will go with us.

when we score first we do well.. the opposition come out to play and that suits our passing game with more room to work in.. we have always stuggled against the well organised 8 at the back mob.. and find it even harder to break em down when we go behind .. it all pace in this league and i think a lot of the players at many clubs in this league struggle to play as well as they can at 800 mph.. hence why some of it looks a bit pants
