We played them in the FA Cup in 2001/02 winning 1-0 with a Craig Wilkins goal.

 

Darren Smith now plays for them.

I hope we take the cup matches a bit more seriously this year otherwise I can see our season ending in March.

Even taking the Trophy seriously probably won't work, of course, given our traditionally abysmal record in the competition. We've never reached the last eight as far as I know. We got through a few rounds to play then-Conference Stalybridge in our Ryman-winning side though, of course, and despite losing, their 'we'll never play you again' chants were amusing, taking on a different significance at the end of the season when we went up and they were relegated... <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
