it would be nice if the club could up date us on what is going on. the last up date from the club was on 17 november. please if any body knows how the meeting went or when we could look at the plan or what is happening with the application i as most people would be appreciative, thanks.

Good news so far.

 

To see this project taken to the point where development of the stadium becomes a reality is really all I want for Christmas this year.

(Except for Half Life 2 of course)

8 days now 7.

6 days and counting. We only have 5 days in order to see the plans. Maybe the club could have them on show on tuesday night at homelands either before/during/or after the match. Might get a few more heads down there. Failing that this SUNDAY would be a good day to exhibit. What do you all think? Whenever it is, time is running out for us to see them before they go before the council. O.K. it may not be that important for us to see them, just so long as everything is in place and ready for the council. Nothing must be left out and I am sure the club be making sure this time that it IS all in place. Don't doubt that for a second. Would be extremely good if the club kept to their word about us getting to view them though. Hope this week at long last puts this long drawn out saga to bed. Time for a direct,straight-forward YES from the council with no proviso's. Positive action from their part. No more toying with us. From me personally to the council(cos' they do look in here) Please GIVE US THE GO-AHEAD-Just say "YES", and let the club start on the ground and thereafter acquire a club that both you, the council, and the community, can be proud of!

Everything you say on the above post is correct,the new stadium would indeed be a big plus in the town of Margate,somthing for the community to take pride in,use it and enjoy it.It does not matter if you are a football fan or not this is there for the people of Margate.

i agree with cookie i would love to see the plans of the stadium. i would hope to see them befor the date the application goes in. but the thing i am most hopping for is that the plans get the go ahead. but i am realy intrested in what the stadiom will look like and will intitle.

4 days and counting. Waiting for the invite to see the plans now before they go to the council.Think perhaps an announcement is imminent concerning this.

cookie just heard this morning that the council changed some plan and it took 9 days before the club recieved notice of it so instead of 30 days to get it right it was reduced to 21 have you heard of this

Did hear something to that effect at the game but was told it was nothing much to worry about. Before I start having a go at the council again I think it best to wait for the club to contact us with an update, promised to us. Dont really know the ins and outs of what you mention but again I have been told not to worry. But then again who knows? Have also contacted the club for a date to view the plans , also as promised.

To my knowledge, i don't think you can change terms of agreement once they have been agreed, or otherwise you could do it whenever you wanted. Plus as a Brucie bonus, if something like this did happen i'm sure MFC would have announced it cos it would be us getting screwed again. It probably either someone just overhearing/reading something old, or just a random Anon man on here or somewhere else trying to stir something up...

 

Still yonder to thursday, when it all goes right, we all go out and party, and fight to be first through the turnstiles when we're back FINALLY at hdp.... hopefully
