YEADING TICKETS

Guest

Recommended Posts

Hello guys! Rascal Rebel here!

Myself and my wife manage to get to about 70 per cent of home games.

Have not posted for a while but I'm back now!

Does anyone know if tickets for the Yeading game are still available from the park please! as i missed the Worthing game!

Yeading tickets will only be available on the day if they have not sold out in advance. In other words, yes they'll be able to gain entry on the day.

I believe, however, that the physical ticket stub is not being handed out for pay on the day entry so eligibility for 3rd round tickets (involving either Slough or Yeading) is limited to those who purchase in advance. Oh, and it'll cost them two quid more if they pay at the gate.

Thanks for clarifying that, Gary. I can't believe however that we think a £2 reduction is enough incentive on its own to get people to buy in advance. I'm surprised we went to the trouble and cost of printing tickets when, in my opinion, we'll struggle to surpass the Salisbury attendance.

Immediately after half time but before the conclusion of the match, the Home Club must declare and provide in writing to the Visiting Club a statement of the total admission and gross gate receipts.

It makes it an awful lot easier to comply with this rule if the bulk of tickets are sold prior to the match. Issuing tickets means that any turnstile can be used for adults or concessions, and the ticket numbers give the headcount. Also it reduces the risk associated with large amounts of cash on the day.

Useful to know that.

So it's not quite so bad that my son has decided a friend's birthday party is more important than the Yeading game...

...having already bought him a ticket <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />!

(I'm sure he'll want to go to a 3rd round game.)
