Just a fact about the away game attendances we have played this season...

Team............Best Attendance.............V's Slough

Chelmsford.......427........................427

Cheshunt.........236........................236

Dover............801 v Tonbridge............637 (Second highest)

Hampton..........310 v Staines..............300 (Second highest)

Kingstonian......349 v Wealdstone...........329 (Second highest)

Leyton...........179 v Kingstonian..........121 (Second highest)

Staines..........551....................... 551

Tonbridge........555 v Kingstonian..........287 (Fifth Highest)

So near enough when we play away we are either a clubs highest or second highest attendance for the season so far. Also the Dover and Hampton highests were local derbies and the Kingstonian and Tonbridge matches Tuesday nights.

Blimey - i'm bored...

Surely there were more than 287 against Tonbridge?

Another fascinating fact is that we have the 180th highest average attendance in England (a list that also contains League of Wales clubs) - up by a massive 0.8% so far from last season (http://www.tonykempster.btinternet.co.uk/attcomp.htm)

We have the potential to attain at least five 1,000+ gates this season, with the Yeading game and two derbies with Windsor to come on Bank Holidays.

Two home games against Windsor and Eton? Do Slough play them in the B&B cup or other competition other than Ryman league?

Incidentally, if you add Slough and Windsor's highest Stag Meadow league attendances this season, you get 780, which is similar to last seasons bank holiday attendance. An attendance of 1000+ would be quite an achievement.

OK then fair enough. Bad wording maybe.

How's about:

'Slough Town have the potential to play a part in at least five 1,000+ gates this season'

OK this wording is much better, but I prefer 'Slough have the probability to play a part in at least five 1000+ gates this season.' All games that haven't been played yet have the potential for crowds of any size (we might sign a 50 year old brazillian for example)
