Anyone visited out “official” website recently!

 

It now reads “Unfortunately we have decided to postpone this service temporarily”

 

Presumably because it was crap! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wall.gif" alt="" />

 

Anyway the reason I went there was to find an answer to the following question:

 

Is the club shop only open on match days? I want to purchase a number of items as Christmas presents, but unfortunately the intended recipients are also season ticket holds and attend every match making covert purchasing impossible! I was hoping that the shop may be open other times so that I could sneak up there and spend loads of dosh on GNFC merchandise! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

No the shop is open match days only. Jessica the lady that works in there along with Jimmy who works in the fleet trust hut may be able to help you but as for going non match days I don't think so.

 

You could try the shop in Perry Street that sells official Fleet merchendise. A-Z Sports I think it's called.

Cool! I did not realise that stuff was sold in a shop outside the club! Is it the full range or just shirts? Also does the club get money or do A-Z Sports cream some off?

Perry St hasn't changed much except for the herds of untamed teenagers wandering around and causing the odd bit of trouble!

Apologies for it not being open outside match hours, it all comes down to manpower etc and all the Trust work full time. If you are planning on attending the "Fleet First" meeting on Thursday then I'll bring the keys down with me.

A-Z are supplied by the shop, they have shirts and some merchandise - mainly calendars and hats/scarves - A-Z make no money from it and do it just out of goodwill.

If it's something specific you want send me a PM and we may be able to come to some sort of arrangement.

It seems to be getting a lot of publicity.

Let us hope the Medway press (News,Standard Extra) are there and report the true facts.

Although they are very Gills biased, if they were to lose Gillingham to Ebbsfleet, the only worthy teams to report on would be Chatham Town or Lordswood - hardly back page material.

I reckon they will come out firmly on our side and against a Gills move.

Not sure if I can make Thursday. Even if I did come then the person I am buying the items for would want to come too! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> I have a look in Perry Street when I get 5 minutes. Thanks for the offer though!
