Guest
I am a Dover fan and I don't want to sound like I'm begging but could a few of you bung in a quid or two to our Save DAFC Fighting Fund. We've set up an online donation account. Any money donated will be refunded if the club doesn't survive. www.doverathletic.com PS: Lee Shearer is looking a cut above in the p*** p**r Ryman League, where we are second from bottom :-(

Hempstead Gaz
I do feel for the Dover fans, but yet again the club only have themselves to blame. The £48,000 could have been covered had Dover not been so greedy and upped the rent that Margit were paying. The 'Gits didn't want to go all the way to Ashford, and were dissapointed not to continue at the Crabble this year. We have been beneficiaries with sharing with our old enemy Dartford. Although it has taken it's toll on the pitch to a degree, we are no doubt grateful for the extra rent. Time and time again it has been proven that SHORT TERM ground sharing benefits both clubs, allowing the "away" club time to rebuild funds and resources. Unfortunatly, Dover's potential demise is wholly self inflicted.
Barrie Fries
I do hope that you two are not typical of Gravesend fans. There was a time when it could have easily been us asking Dover fans to help save our club.
