Not only do we not want our players running with the ball, and god forbid losing it, we don't want them to shoot either!! Obstentatious shots what like his 25 yarder against Exeter!!
You lot won't be happy until you've got a team of robots. Pathetic......IMO


For me we did waste chances. Too many long shots. Would you rather see us waste 5 chances on long shots or have say 3 better passes an 2 long shots?
I'm all for quality ostentatious strikes, but they have to be quality and hit the target more often then not

Point taken. In Roy's defence, one of his 'long shots' on Saturday, in the first few minutes, actually flicked the top of the crossbar.

Wasted shots we may have had, but at least we were taking every attempt at goal we had, which is good to see. Maybe Macca thought that it was better to shoot than to pass, as he saw more of an opportunity for a goal.

 

Thought Roy was unlucky with his flukey shot that came off of his back from the keeper's kick, looked very likely to be going in.

Sorry to keep last weeks thread rolling on, but so what if people choose to wear SI, lacoste, etc..?? No-one's causing trouble. We mind our own business, watch football & have a beer. My pal running on the side of the pitch wasn't equivical of JFK getting shot, drama queen.

If a group of muslims came to watch would you see them as a threat to your safety just because they have big beards, wear traditional dress & smell funny?? No, so don't stereo type. We contribute to the club too.
