Good to see Oates back in starting line up,Up the Gate.

Must say, with the exception of Green missing, that looks like the strongest team I've seen this season. It just leaves me with one thought, when Green is back, which one of those 4 defenders would you leave out? Smith, Barnett, Annon or Boujadi (sorry if thats not right) ATM, i'd replace Annon with Green, as from what I've seen, Smith is better Annon, and Barnett is possibly the best defender we have, I haven't seen Boujadi, but hear he is good, so looks like we might need a new captain soon.

Sorry to be pointed, but if the defence is so good why do we let in so many goals?

Inexperience? Must say 2 of defenders are fairly new to the club, and all are fairly young with the exception of Annon and Edwards (who is past it in my opinion-sorry to his fans!) Oates has been injured, and for the last few weeks, we've had midfielders as wing backs.

Rocky did it more or less on his own, beating two defenders I am told.

At the game. Margate played well. Oates lent strength to the defence. Rocky tried hard and scored a good individual goal after beating several defenders in the box. We lost to two good goals, a 30 yard flier into the top corner (Cooper) and a header from a corner, which perhaps could have been better defended. Apart from a couple of patches Margate had easily the best of it- at 1-1 a Basingstoke supporter told me we were going to win it. Too bad he was wrong!
