The Doughboys - the county's oldest football club - went out of business in 2002 but since then have been running youth teams to pave the way for a return to their former glory.

 

The club applied to return to the UCL last year and work has been carried out mainly by a team of volunteers to bring the facilities up to the required level six. From next season there will be a first team, reserve team as well as the under-18s and other junior teams that have already performed well in their respective divisions this season.
