...for trips into the wilds.

Hey Dudes

I found something highly educational on the net yesterday & originally attached it as a link in a message suggesting we might use it to wind up our friends from Wales (come back Davies all is forgiven) and other wild places.

Unfortunately, Mr Garrison caught me & made me delete it because I hadn't noticed a rather dubious looking link to a possibly not very nice website at the bottom of the page. However, I threw a tantrum & told him goddam it I would send it - either that or I'd tell the Principal what I caught him & Mr Hat doing in the First Graders' locker room.

So we reached a compromise, I could send it as an attachment, with the dodgy link removed.

Could be useful for anyone wanting to be up on 'country sports' for the forthcoming westcountry tour, or indeed for the 1st match of the season at Yeovil.

PS You have to click on 'attachment' at the top. It's small to start with because I didn't want to scare any girlie types. If you are not easily offended, hover your mouse over it, wait for the expander thingy to appear in the bottom right & click on it. All in the worst possible taste. Please don't ban me Mr Moderator, man

Certainly provides a little variation on the chant, traditionally aimed at our visiting country cousins, celebrating the legendary intimacy of their relatonships with their woolly grazing friends.

However, I wouldn't let JJ see it. I don't feel Kent's favourite tractor boy would be best pleased.

Must admit, seeing your little cartoon got the creative juices going again - songwriting wise, I hasten to add. 2 possibilities come to mind -

1. A simple little number, for repetition until even the most mindless among us become bored. This could be used to relieve the 'extremely basic' (even by our standards) "Sheep sh***ers, sheep sh***ers...." Essentially it's a variation on "You're Welsh & you know you are," which becomes "You sh** sheep & you know you do..."

2. Rather ambitious, compared with our usual offerings, but I'm sure we're up to it:

"In the valleys the sheep are anxious

In the valleys the cows are mad.

In the valleys they're bl**dy nervous

Of being bl**dy sh***ed."

As a knight of the realm angel.gif with a reputation to uphold, I hasten to add that I have nothing but respect for our Welsh and country cousins farmer.gif & that this is offered in the spirit of mutual abuse argue.gif which is at the heart of all fottball rivalry and, whilst meant to wind up, is intended to be too ridiculous fart.gif to cause genuine offence.
