Thursday night at the town hall

If you have nothing better to do with your evening, you may want to pop along to the town hall for the Scrutiny and Overview Committee Meeting. Cllr Janik has put in two 'call-ins' which have some relevance to us. The first concerns Slough Town Football Club, the second Wexham Park Stadium.

Watching paint dry isn't everybodys cup of tea but it might be worth going along to see what he is going to say this time. I doubt it will be very helpful

It is not a meeting for participation. I'm only thinking about going because I'm curious about what Mr Janik could possibly have to say about the football club or indeed Wexham Park Stadium

Janick will not even know why he has called this in ? something to do with the sale of Wexham Park..and the council's wish to blame someone else other than the independants for their ill timed and sad decision on the Britwell re generation project...

 

I hope we don't go over old ground again...its time for action and help and the time to work with each other....

I did write to the Assistant Chief Executive the other week but she has not honoured me with any acknowledgement even.

politics is the art of the possible so knowing/seeing what is what in a council chamber is illuminating for yours truly, so I am sorry I missed it, strange as it may seem.
