Yousef, Yeading struggle to get 100 for league games.

Even for the big game in the cup first round it appeared they only managed 100-150 of a 524 crowd in a clash of non-league sides. Unfortunately for their very good team, they're not very well supported at all.

 

Andy, fortunately for us (I think), one of their strike force is cup-tied - Marvin Morgan. Recently transferred across from Wealdstone for £5k and is a very good player, both quick and strong.

Lots of vocal encouragement - even if we go a goal down - is obviously the best motivator for us. But what demotivates the opposing side the most: raucous barracking, pointing out their deficiencies, insulting their parents, "top-of-the-league-youre-having-a-laugh" or just plain silence?

Personally i would prefer to play a team who is in the coca cola league but near the bottom because yeading are overflowing with confidence and i think our boys need to be ready for a tough match. i say slough to win 5-4 in a replay on penalties.

 

0-0, then in replay 2-2 and then after extra time 3-3 and 5-4 in pens, beat that

Just curious, but will there be live coverage of a second round replay?

 

I know even a return to Yeading wouldn't be very attractive for TV, but if there were not many replays then would that possibility exist...?

That comes entirely down to how many other games go to replay. I think Sky are committed to showing one and clearly if we are the only game then it makes sense that we will be on, especially if there is a Premiership team in the 3rd round as a carrot to dangle. Then again, Sky might not think it would be worth it, given that the sum of our average attendances is about 450
