So what is everyone's predictions for Saturday, I for some reason am thinking a 1-1 draw, optimistic after form of late but that’s what Im thinking.

 

Im not happy about having to miss this game, so get behind the team and lay off the 'who are they jokes' Im sure they have heard them all before.

For some reason I have the number 4 on my mind.

 

My guess would depend on what squad is announced and probably who is picked - and its a bit early for that.

 

I'll go for an optimistic 2-1 Gulls or an un optimistic 2-0 Accy. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

 

Ken - one of the reasons I'm going (apart from seeing the Gulls get back to an optimistic 2-1 win) is to come up with the "Who are they" jokes. I wish I had a pound for everyone I've told that I'm going to Accrington Stanley and they have said "who the 'ell are they?" I'd have 4 quid by now. close your eyes and you can see it .. anyway hopefully accy will beat ian rushes chester one day and we can all laugh at the irony of it all...for about 3 seconds untill stubbs n co do it to death

We play closer as a unit this time and there is not a big gap between the back and front line where we have been losing the ball too easily up front and it comes straight back.

After a while, Stanley get agitated as things are not happening the way they want and we gain in confidence with Wardy and Buzz tidying up any of the their pacey attacks.

Our confidence grows further during the afternoon and we are playing good football around their area.

Suddenly, we actually go for goal and it works. Then as Stanley press for the equaliser, in goes number two. The Stanley heads go down and we are thoroughly enjoying ourselves.

Goal number three follows soon after with four and five completing the rout.
