just changing the subject slightly. Arky, what was the biggest attendance at Sosuthbury Road. The best I can remember was v Port Vale in the thrid round replay of the FA Cup when we won 3-0.

That was Dave F's first Game in charge as Safety Officer for Enfield FC.

Oh Happy you got me reminising now, was that when the wall went down at the town end? and do i remember "Stevie King on the wing" scoring 1 or 2 of the goals?

Steve King scored 1 - when Vale keeper Steve Cherry completely missed the ball trying to kick clear outside his area.

 

John Bishop and Ronnie Howell got the others and yes, the wall did collapse (I think it was after Ronnie's goal).
