Thurrock - Carthiam Cup

Have not seen this anywhere else but the Thurrock site has the game listed for Mondy 29th November.

It is a fixture in a competition no-one is interested in. At Thurrock on a Monday can see a sub 100 attendance.

Not been able to make any games due mainly to work so have not had much to say on here really.

However, rest assured the pessimism is still alive and well!

Don't knock the competition too much.

 

To me, it would be good to beat Thurrock and set up a home tie against Dagenham.

 

I would like to see the current side tested against conference competition.

 

Boy, i miss those matches.The standard is so much higher than conf. south.

 

Equally, once it gets to the last 8 or so, interest will revive in it.

 

Its only a useless competition if you are'nt in it

 

(in fairness i must admit the KSC does nothing for me).

 

Anyway, the Carithium cup is now the National Conference Cup so its got a proper name at last
