Come on Duggy Dave, explain to us Fleet Fans, why are we in free fall, why is Andy's job on the line, so we have slipped a bit i never expected us to be in this position, we are a mid table maybe if we play above ourselves top eight team, we should be proud of our team and management, encouragement please starting on Saturday.

We have had a run of bad luck / form over the last couple of weeks, but we're still only 5 points from 3rd and I think we're a long ways away from having to be to worried.

 

I guess that everyone's entitled to their opinion, but let's not lose our heads. Remember how stupid all the "Andy out" guys from last year look now and if you have nothing constructive to say, keep it shut and just back the boys

It looks bad because all our defeats have been concentrated in a short period, but we haven't lost many more than genuine play-off contenders - Halifax, Stevenage, Accrington. Yes, it's a worrying slump, but nothing two wins in November/December won't put right.

Can't blame Fordy for all the recent problems, even if he is the manager. You can't blame him for players being injured, it just happens. Although he makes the decisions, ultimately, on the day, it's up to the players to pull together under Macca and perform to the best of their abilities.

"we're still only 5 points from 3rd" and 14 points from 20th which means we are much better placed than this time last year. Our good run really got going over Christmas last season and if we can reproduce anything like that again next year then it should be a season to remember.

Astonishing that this thread ever started, how can Andy be responsible for our sudden drop in form and injuries?

I thought that at the start of the season we required another central defender,an attacking goalscoring midfielder and a striker, i'm sure I wasn't alone in coming to this conclusion.

It does appear that Andy has been trying to resolve these problem areas,but he's obviously in competition with other clubs with more financial clout than us not to mention the demands of some players.

The Shearer situation was possibly (reading between the lines) the players desire to play for Dover all along,and he is a big loss, especially with Porter looking to be injury prone at the moment coupled with Moores' loss of form,our central defence is in crisis, and Wilkerson is not playing with as much confidence as usual,all this is stating the obvious I know so how come the original anonymous poster of this thread didn't think this through,it's not rocket science to pinpoint where our problems are and Andy is trying his damndest to put it right,so let's give credit where it's due and be more positive and support Andy and the team.
