We weren't lucky to have beaten at all!! We were good value for the win and it didn't look like a penalty to me, let alone a sending off. The ref was a clown!!

I think your well wishing is a bit premature, thanks anyway. The league is there for the taking but as we all know anything can happen in football.

 

I honestly think we could do well in the conference with our current team, now that we've signed the 4 ex-Hornchurch boys. Obviously our squad would need fine tuning, as there is always room for improvement. We had 4 key players out on Saturday, which goes to show the strength of our current squad.

4 key players out, do me a favour who would have got into that team and who would they have replaced only Cole for Oli.

Youds, Leroy, Cole and Hooper went off injured early on and unless my mathematics are very wrong I'd say that would add up to 4?!? Youds may not get straight back in the starting 11 but he is still a key player. Just shows the strength of our squad eh?

You obviously go to a lot of games mate, Leroy was playing. Youds will not get in front of Matthews and Stuart and Hooper started as well and got injured so in my book that is still 1.

Oh yeah sh*t sorry, forgot about Leroy, shame on me!! He even set up the winning goal for f**k sake!! I can't believe I did that, what a pr*ck? I know Hooper started but he went off pretty early, so in effect we were without him.

 

I didn't say Youds would get in front of Stuart or Matthews but he is still a key player to us. He has been one of our most consistent players since he joined and I'm sure he'll be pushing for a first team place when he returns from injury.

10 of those 11 played, lets get real here you beat us with your strongest side apart from Cole and to be honest I think Oli is better than him anyway. Not taking away you took the 3 points fine, but don't start saying you were missing players, because we were missing one or two ourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You're spot on with our starting 11 and no way is Oli better than Cole. Not from what I've seen anyways. Hooper went off early doors, so effectively we were without him, no? I agree that Youds wouldn't necessarily be 1st choice but he is still very important to us. I still can't believe I forgot about Leroy, it's probably because he's been out for the last few games!

 

I wasn't doubting you guys were without players, 4 of them had Grays shirts on my friend!!

 

A lot of people were saying we'd thrash Hornchurch but I couldn't see it myself. They've put in a few gutsy performances since all the goings on and being a local derby, it was always going to be close.
