What sort of player............

Canary Saint

Recommended Posts

..............is Roddis ? Is he the much needed anchor man (ie mean b*rstard) that city need in mid-field ?

If Nolan can knock in a few goals up front, all we need is:

- the afore mentioned anchor man in mid-field

- a 'no-nonsense' centre half

- a commanding keeper

Then we would have a sporting chance of stopping the rot

Could not agree more Canary, the rumours on Saturday that a new keeper was on the way, awaiting official confirmation on site.

We have the makings of a good side but the backbone is weak.

Keeper - Mel Capelton (White elephant)

Center Half - The 4 used sofar this season have not gelled

Center Mid - Has failed to dominated

Striker - A partner for Lee Clarke (Matt Nolan looked sharp on Saturday although obviuosly lacking match fitness

i'll echo that

thought he was always involved 1st half , good to see....lacking match fitness ...

is it part of the criteria to join our club that you have to be half fit...

some good signs all round tho

incredible to think Chavgate are 10 places above us...

In case no-one has spotted it, I noticed on the Rob's Official web-site, that "the caretaker manager" has appointed Nick Roddis as player/coach.

There is then reference to the various players mentioned previously on here 'not forming part of the "manager's" plans'.

I wonder if the "caretaker manager" and the "manager", to whom reference is made, are related? I think we should be told.
