A reliable source has told me that when the players were called to BA to be told the money had run out, upon leaving the clubhouse, the vast majority of the squad were on the dog to their agents, other than one Darren Caskey who was busy

on the dog to his bookie trying to get a substantial wager on Grays to win NS!!! Lets hope he isn't paid out come May.

That may well be true, but he still aint gonna turn down a chance of making some dough is he, at a largely inflated price on Grays? Especially seeing his last Urchin pay day had just bounced!

Talking of dough, its hard not to believe the rumours surrounding his weekly pay packet, given how far he had dropped down in terms of the playing level, I know he had other offers from league clubs. Still a class act, when given room to play.

He either put the bet on because he needed the cash or he's been earning bundles of dough at the urchins. Which one is it?

 

If you want to have a dig at cask let's hear what you have to say?

 

As for him signing anywhere, I'm led to believe he's been training with the Posh but hasn't signed anywhere just yet.

 

Whatever happens, I agree with Kimble. Caskey is a top fella, I wish him all the very best wherever he goes.

Lee Elam was the biggest money grabbing disloyal player that has ever put on the red and white shirt, arrogant and loved himself and thought he was a big time charlie, when all he did was produce the occasional bit of magic and a lot of the other time was spent giving the ball away and doing nothing for the cause of the team, Darren Caskey on the other hand is a legend in my eyes and it will always be remembered by us the fans who was the last player to leave the club on that night and he got the ovation he deserved. Caskey is a top bloke.

Mellow out! I aint contradicting myself at all. Made what I believe to be 2 valid points- 1)He placed a bet on Grays 2) His pay cheque bounced.end of. People can make of it what they want. Just thought I'd share the info I got with u guys on here.

In no way did I mean it to lower anyone's opinion of Caskey, the player or the person.

As I said hope his bookie keeps his dough and Grays blow out, wouldn't that be great....
