Hope the meeting went ok will be interesting sometime to look at the points raised, could not make the meeting as i am trying to get to Germany if the French will kindly move the blockade.

The meeting was attended by about a hundred fans,and media people from the Reporter and Radio Kent,as well as Brian Kilcullen.Brian gave an outline of the Gillingham proposals,which he was not in favour of.It seems the scenario that the board are envisaging is a new ground within the borough.The existing location seems to be a non starter,as the cost of buying it from Lafarge would be prohibitive(Lafarge are looking at it as a prime site as part of the Thames Gateway development).The meeting was ably introduced by Charles Webster and good support from Jessica from the Trust

It was good to see the new Sports Editor of the Reporter hold his hands up and admit that the newspaper had it wrong at the start of the Gillingham saga and are now fully committed to the Fleet`s Home First campaign.Overall the outcome was that with our help by making the campaign an issue in the borough,with the help of posters and other information available at the club,we can all play a part in realising our goal of a super ground in the borough of Gravesham for our own team.So we must all mobilise and carry the momentum forward that has now began with tonight`s meeting.

Anyway...enough of that....
