i never have and never will agree with any form of racial abuse. i think its disgusting. honestly. i dont care how much those guys get paid, when one player gets given the ball the comments should not differ from the comments when a white / black / asain / mixed race person etc has the ball.

i know that comment was light hearted top gun, so this isnt mainly to you but a comment on spanish supporters, or any other racist's behaviour in general.

if somebody is racist then there is no need to hear any of that; they can keep their (wrong) views to them selves. just like you wouldnt insult somebody for anything in front of their face, you dont insult anybody for the colour of their skin. it is complety out of line and dis-respectful.

 

i hate racism.

I agree the racial taunts are unnecessary and out of order but its still the way some people choose to behave.Our boys did brilliant in turkey and slovakia when faced with similar monkey chants they rolled up their sleeves got on with the job. But on wednesday night they just didn't want to know and mr Rooney certainly didn't help matters .The best way to beat racist chants is to try that bit harder it worked in turkey and they were even phisically assaulted there at half time .Countries like spain have very few black citizens and its unfortunate that this will happen from time to time when england play in eastern europe ,the balkans and southern europe .It will be several more generations before this behavior is gone altogether and it won't be in mine or yours lifetime I'm afraid.

No seriously, good point, all are as bad as each other you cant seperate them, it also comes down to how its meant, all is ok when banter is banded about and no malice is meant, however the PC brigade have made it hard to have harmless banter nowadays.
