Anyone know what the split of ticket allocation is? Cos with this "Glamour tie" I cant see us selling more than 1500 and yeading may well break all records and sell 300

I am not sure there will be an allocation as such. There will not be any segregation I assume. It will be a case of Yeading sell as many as they can and we flog the rest if at all possible. I would assume an attendance around the 1200 mark.

I think we will sell a good 1,000, but i cant see Yeading doing more than 300

Just thought.,...Cant the club, issue some form at the game that would give priority when buying tickets for the (Fingers crossed) 3rd round, im sure that would help drag people in

My guess is that more Hayes fans than Yeading fans will be there given that Yeading is virtually in Hayes, Hayes are out of the cup, and that we have at least two of their former players in our team. Provided of course that Hayes aren't playing on the same day, or if they are, some of their fans might prefer an FA Cup game.

It is still the FACUP 2nd round matt. Look how many new faces down the slough end we saw for the Walsall match, I know at least 10 of my pupils came who had never been to slough match before...

True... I just don't think we're going to see 300 faces at the 'away' end.

 

Let's think about this - 2002 FA Cup 1st Round - Slough vs Harrogate Railway. Att 1,687. I think Harrogate brought something like 400 fans that day. Let's assume most of the remaining 1,287 paying customers were supporting Slough.

 

On Saturday, the att was 2,023 with 509 (according to them) from Walsall. This equates to something like 1,500 Slough fans, or at least non-Walsall fans.

 

I really don't think Yeading will have more than 200 fans/directors/whatever there... but for the sake of a decent crowd I'll be happy to be proved wrong.

 

We play at WEFC now, BUT this is the 2nd round as you rightly say. We should assume Slough will have something like 1,200 - 1,400 fans there (or at least, non-Yeading fans). The attendance will be something like 1,500 IMO.

Well if that happens i am a teacher so I am more than happy to arrange it; maybe one of the lads could come in and do an assembly or just to lob me a load of tickets to pass off
