Alright Lads! Any recommendations for a pub/chippy for Saturday? Where is the away end in the ground and how many can that end hold?

Your best bet would be the Jellicoe,it`s 5mins walk from the ground. Service can be slow but they sell food, have sky plus a pool table.

 

Not sure of the capacity of the away end but i`m sure you`ll all fit on the open terrace, wrap up warm it`s going to be cold.

Thanks for the info. Looking forward to visiting a new ground. I think the transfer into the stand may be on the books so we can get a bit of noise going. Is this segregated?

yeah there is segregation. not sure how many seats you are given but its not many and its not a very good view either as its right in the corner of the ground

How many are you bringing Buddy Rich?

I know Hereford have a large away support so we could find ourselves outnumbered. Lets try and make a lot of noise on Saturday.

It's quite hard to say really! We took 6-700 to Southport last weekend, but we all know the FA Cup brings out people who don't normally go away. We also took 500 to Carlisle. Those are our two most recent away games. However we are playing poorly but in the middle of an improved spell if you can understand that! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

 

I don't think it will be more than 500. However in saying that we do have a large amount of supporters based in London, so who knows! If we were doing well in the league ie top or near the top it would be nearer 1000. Ask Aldershot, Leigh and Halifax!

Just read your dislike of the Aldershot Burberry. I'm afraid we've got a lot of that, not so much burberry but Aquascutum and Stone Island.

 

I wouldn't have though they'd travel though!

brr even you northern chaps may need a tee shirt.. plus on that open terrace with the estuary breeze, better make it a jumper..

get all your boozing n eating done early doors before you get into the ground, if there are a few of you, you wont have to much joy with the er.. somewhat basic facilities at the away end
