......its hornchurch again, but this really has to be mentioned, read their thread "to the boston fan who" it says that in a times top ten of young teams hornchurch urchins are number nine? and fergies fledglings are number ten. On pointing this out, they say they believe this to be a true representation of the teams? Now im sorry but what have this lot done, lost some games, what have fegies boys done......exactly.This is obsessive i know but ******* hell, I am shocked at the times. I can only imagine this was meant for an early april edition of the paper? as early as the first maybe.

Sorry again for the hornchurch content, but i NEEDED to tell people, and i am not gonna get ANY joy from telling my bird or the postmen/random dogwalkers going past the window as i type. Seeing as apart from that i am on my tod right now you lot are my listening post. Thanks

.....another story in the news this morning...Tamworth are preparing to appeal against the possible deduction of 3 points by the Conference league...haven't been on their site but anyone know what this is about ? Ineligible player ?

At the risk of appearing a sad old ******* in answering my own question...the Conference did not receive the registration of a player, James Francis, until after he had played against Leigh. The Tamworth official statement on their website, explains the chain of events from their point of view. We wait the outcome.....

It was on the back page of the NLP yesterday.

 

One of their subs used against Leigh RMI was registered in time, the letter arrived at the Conference on the Monday after the match postmarked Friday 5:00pm - two hours after the deadline. he was a relative of Trevor Francis as I recall.

 

Tamworth think they should be let off because Exeter "got away" with Dwayne Lee.
