After watching that dreadful game today...it has to be asked why do the BBC constantly favour Thurrock??? Do they get a free overnight stay in the hotel within striking distance of Lakeside for their wives?

I know they were crap!! Same thing happened last year, us and Tranmere would have been a great game to put on. This year I think we could of done with us and Boston being put on, would have been a nice pay cheque plus a little publicity...

 

I liked it at half time when the bloke said

 

"This is a great opportunity for Thurrock and the village- pity they ain't been reading the papers this week cos it doesn't look like many are here!!"
