This has nothing to do with free speech mate. I'm not saying lets not talk about Hornchurch but this is a Gravesend forum lets all talk about Gravesend Issue's. Your foolish to make your comments known before you've heard what The Fleet fans have to say. I'm pretty sure I'll have the majority of them on my side.

Quite right Harry.

We simply dont give a fig about Hornchurch. Even a blind,dumb senile cretin could see they were heading for trouble with their wage bill far exceeding their income.

What did they expect?

To win the FA Cup?

The best thing is for them to sink without trace, for their scummy, scav, hanger on pondlife "supporters" to go back to West Ham and leave the club and it's true, genuine supporters (and I met a few at our game) to rise from the ashes as a properly run club in the future.

There is a Northfleet Select section for those topics purely related to GNFC, but it doesn't seem to get used much....!! So I don't see why we cannot use this part of the forum to talk about what we want to!!

 

Not much seems to have happened in the life & times of GNFC today ( unless I have missed something !?) so what shall we talk about ?

Sensible conversation on any subject is reasonable - gloating, and making fun of other clubs with whom we've only had a passing acquaintance (and probably wont have other contact with for some time now, given Hornchurch's position) borders on obsession.

 

Lets forget Hornchurch and not go down the same route we did with Canvey during the 2 years before they got promoted where, despite being a league apart, various of our fans continued to find reason to poke fun at Canvey.

 

I dont want to see anyone stopped from saying things they want to on this board, but a little common sense should be used when posting.

Several years of pushing the club as far as he could only managed to leave us in serious debt and completely up s**t creek when the money ran out. (See any comparisons?)

PS - In answer to your comments, I can't see a problem with Gazza's initial post. The boredom factor over Hornchurch will soon set in, but the tv programme may prove interesting.

Right so I take it as this then. We use this page to talk about ???? stuff, but on the Northfleet select, which does as much work as Tottenhams defence, we only talk about Gravesend issues. Fair enough.
