Some messages of support received...

I've decided to publish a few of the main emails, that I have received over the last few days from fans of other clubs around the UK.

Enjoy...

"As an avid Yeovil town fan i watched with interest following your signing of Kirk Jackson and Lee Elam at the end of last season. Kirk particularly had been a great servant for our club, and i and many others still new had a great few years left in him and lee had years to fulfil his potential. It was at this point i first looked at your website and realised just what potential under Gary Hill Hornchurch had . Over the course of the beginning of the season following the signing of adam locke and Darren Caskey, hornchurch looked like becoming the Harlem Globetrotters of the non league scene. It is therefore with great dismay that i have learned of the demise of the club, as you may well know Yeovil endured many years of hardship in the non league and on occasions came incredibly close to going out of business ourselves. The professional manner in which your club is run is a credit to all the board, staff and players. I sincerely hope that a business man with football in his heart takes up the plight of your club and helps it to regain its surge towards the football league. With the backing of the fans and players the phoenix can always rise from the flames . I am sure there are thousands of well wishers across the footballing world who feel the same. I wish you the greatest of Luck !!! " Neil

"Just heard about what has happened at your club. It is tragic. No one likes to see teams go through this especially a team which has so much promise and potential to grow bigger. I hope you get through this guys.

We've been through it at Swansea, and with the right support we got through it. Hope you have the same type of luck

All the Best

"My sympathies to Hornchurch FC regarding the current sponsorship situation. I am an ex Romford resident who hates to hear of trouble experienced within football at grass roots level.

May you find a sponsor soon as you are needed every bit as much as the big guys. Paula"

"Quite a lot of our fans have been following Hornchurch's fortunes after our FA Cup match last season and very sad to hear the news.

I just hope that your club still go on to win promotion.

Best wishes

"On behalf of the Dagenham & Redbridge Press Team, we are very sad on the news on what happened to Hornchurch. We hope something/or someone comes in to rescue the club before its too late. Our thoughts are with you and the club on this sad day."

"That my thoughts and best wishes go to all at Hornchurch during this time.

Even though I'm a Leyton Orient supporter what has happened must be devastating for all of you players and staff.

I hope that it is sorted out soon.

Nigel"
