FA CUP Draw Analysis

Recommended Posts

At the moment, there are currently 48 teams in the draw for the second round. This could conceivably become 46 by the time the actual draw is made depending on the outcome of today's two games.

Of those in the draw, the split between league's is as follows:

League One - 17 (of which 5 are involved in replays)

League Two - 15 (of which 7 are involved in replays)

Conference - 8 (of which 2 are involved in replays)

Conference North - 2 (of which 1 is involved in a replay)

Conference South - 2 (of which 1 is involved in a replay)

Southern Premier - 2 (none of which are involved in replays)

Ryman Premier - 2 (none of which are involved in replays)

The highest placed team is L***n Town, top of League One and the lowest is little old Slough Town, currently 14th in the Ryman Premier which, by my maths, is 105 positions difference - the current equivalent of Chelsea versus the 13th placed team in the Conference (Exeter)! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
