We won't be relegated in a million years. Our team is too good for that.

If If If we were to do that, could we be promoted anyway as would the ground not have to be ready by end April again, and imo that is unlikely.

 

Would that not just be the biggest slap in the face ever, if we did get into a promotion place ,and could not take our place in conference national as the ground was not available.

 

I think i'm getting greedy as at start of season, all i wanted was to avoid another relegation.(although i was hoping for a couple of decent cup runs)

 

The thing is, i think we know that CK is assembling a decent side again, and Mark Green is yet to make his return

Saw Greenie on the pitch today, he is building up strength in his leg. He cannot run yet so is doing fast walking and strength exercises. He yearns (I think that is the best word for it) to be back playing again, and is working really hard every day to achieve this.

What an excellent chap he is.

oates was takeing a few shots at nedj before the game didnt notice him doing any running or stretching.

There's no doubt that we need to see a improvement in away results, like last year in the conference. However our defence is looking steadier, and with Oates and Green waiting to return we will actually have selection problems, which can only be good, as competition for places i feel inspires good performances, look at chelsea for example. If we can show a little meaness away, get a few 0-0 and 1-0 wins, and build upon a better home form, i would like to think we can climb the league to the play offs... and maybe even beat Grays away.... some of their posts on the confsouth are very arrogant, someone needs to bring them down a peg or two

The latest Margate fc press release features the words, 'fresh funding' and 'rebuilding our playing squad'. That to me, based on the fact that we have a good squad assembled already (from all the rteports I read on here), says that the future of Margate is bright and solid
