Margate vs. Havant & W

Best Iv'e seen this season. All players played well. Rocky still hasn't got it back yet but showed improved form today. Ross Smith was gigantic in defence and clearly man-of-the-match in defence. The "STAR" of the game was Che. Ran his socks off and always got to the ball first. Finishing was first class and agree that his overhead would have been a cracker had it not hit foot of post. Defence was majestic. Had a few rough moments when 2-1 but once the third went in it was one-way traffic. Referee was o.k. all but for one disgusting tackle that should have been a red instead of yellow by one of their players.

All in all EVERYBODY had a good game both individually and as a team. Watson again comes of the bench and displays a touch of class.

Hussein did his job well too.

Thouroughly enjoyble game, not just because of the scoreline but by the way it was achieved. Excellent.

Score could easily have been 8 or 9.

H & W weren't the best side Iv'e seen and having no Dean Holdsworth must surely have been to our advantage but to be fair even with him in their side I dont think it would have matterd anyway as out team were awesome today. Best I have seen to date this year. Cracking form today. Keep it up guys.

What a game was shakeing in the car on the way to work and i was still pumped about it at work so much so i think i pissed every one off going on about it.

 

Is the best gate performance this season and certianly of any i have seen in recent memory every one played well the new guy looked like he had played for us all season he sloted in very well barnett,anonn,smith were solid for the most part and bene cuased a lot of trouble down the right,the goal was unlucky a very well struck ball would have been hard for any keeper to get it.

 

Che could of had 4 today he was on fire absoultly great link up play between him and midfield and was so unlucky not to score with a overhead kick i cant imagine were the gate would be without Che this season would have been my man of the match if it wasnt for Pat havening such a blinder.

Rocky could of had a hatrick if only he wouldnt piss around so much in front of the box but wont diss him is the best performance i have seen rocky have for us this season didnt stop running and gave the havent defence a headache for the entire time he was on the pitch him and che were truley meanceing today lets hope they can carry on for the remainder of the season.

Big darren what a goalie made some blinding saves for a big guy at half time <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> but in all seriousness im glad his back at the Gate he looks fitter then last season and really is just unstoppable when he is in his stride he may not be able to play a full game but what a sub.

 

Clarke looked sharpe today some nice passing seemed to be running more today i take it what ever was hampering him this season has healed as he looked good today not vintage clarkey but still more then enough on the day.

Keister & Gradley were awsome they really did have cracking games they ran the midfield so well and when havant were near/in our box they were back there digging it out and bringing it forward was just briliant football from both of them i really hope they can keep it up cuase they really drove the MFC motor today.

Gradley was imho MoM he was just at the top of his game he really was just awsome and just piped Che(hard thing to say for a Che fanboy).

 

Omg i have written a book sorry if u have read it all and it's nothing u didnt all ready know but im still buzzing at the result!
