He is quality, made a couple of telling runs.

Maragte were awsome today. (I couldnt believe it was the blues) Gradley, Keister and Sttadart were amazing!!!

Bouadji, he seemd to fall in to the position as if he has been playing for the gate for years, class player good on the ball and in the air.

but to be honest all of gate were on fire as lovepug said Che, Keister, and Pat, were outstanding. everyone played well and for me hard to pick anyone as the best was a real team effort even rocky played well.

If we can keep playing like that i cant see us having a problem climbing up the table.

Benvenides played his customary wide game.

Bouadji is very quick, good on his head, brave, all over the pitch, mostly wide, just what we need.

Defensively they all played well, Ross Smith continues to impress, Barnett was solid, got a great goal with a header, Darren Annon played a very good tactical game, but more to the centre than we have seen him of late.

Midfield we were solid too, Clarke had a very good game, did a lot of running, pinpoint crosses, looks completely fit again. Gradley as sound as always and very influential, Keister was much better today and did some really good passes, although was still losing the ball on occasion. Nearly scored himself as well. Peter stayed wide, and although there were times when he seemed to go missing, he was in the game where it counted and was instrumental in setting up at least two of the goals, as indeed was Rocky.

Rocky had a great game, ran rings around, showed a lot more commitment than has been seen lately. Che was on fire and on form, and nearly had two more with a header that just flipped over, and an astounding overhead scissor kick which nearly was goal of the season. Watson came on for Rocky towards the end and what can I say - put him on the pitch and in goes the ball!

What made it for us was that we created space and chances, and the service to the forwards was much quicker and more accurate. We kept the ball on the ground and passed very accurately and creatively. H&W were not the worst team I have seen this season but today was our day and we blew them away.

Finally, let me say how well I though Nej played throughout the first half when Peter was delayed in the traffic. Took a couple of very good saves, the one that went in I do not believe anyone could have stopped but he had a jolly good try with a very acrobatic jump. I am glad we have him.

Great report, great for the team and CK,and delighted for the loyal fans.

Second your comment about Nedjet-seems a real team player-recall at last weeks nightmare he was acting as ball boy, trying to get the ball back in play as quick as possible .

5-1 is flattering to us. Early in the second half when it was 2-1, Havant had two very good chances to equalise. It could have gone either way at that point. I just think they defended very poorly. The two goals in the first half were dreadful and in the second they were too easily carved open. Not that I'm complaining!

I would never describe any goals we scored as dreadful, to me they are all a delight.

The first goal came after 5 corners, a sustained attack which would inevitably end in a goal, so if it was bundled in, who cares?

Carving the defence open is what it is all about. We have done it before this season, but not enough, and for a time it looked like we had lost the knack.

5-1 is just what we need to prove that we can do it, decisively, when we have our eyes on the prize. Hopefully a lesson learned and confidence gained for the long haul back to the league we deserve to be in.
