Walsall had lots of possesion in mid field & passed the ball ok but didnt really 'carve us apart' & create many chances. They dominated possesion without an end product. Merson's little flicks just weren't effective.

Alloway made a couple of good saves and looked very safe, Josias & Haddow looked quick & dangerous & Wilko, Chopper, Spence & Mets worked their nuts off. At the back Daly , Saulsbury & Murphy all played well and Hodgey looked a class above to me. Apart from the goal he held the ball up superbly against that big lump Emblen.

COME ON YOU REBELS !
