Warning - M25 closed

Currently (08.30) the M25 is closed between 6 and 7 both ways for an accident. Must be fairly serious for both carriageways to be shut.

 

Check for latest news before you leavel.

 

Theres not a lot of difference in mileage - so would suggest using the northern circuit, although that would mean putting up with the roadworks.

Thanks Bob. Just off and was going to post something but thanks for doing this.

 

Going the northern route and I heard this morning that the southerly diversion was adding an hour extra to travel, and that was earlier this morning before the traffic gets going.

Latest information states that the M25 will remain closed until about 20:00 this evening due to a serious accident and oil spill after a tanker overturned.

Tell us about it, Our game at home to Northwood was delayed to 3.25pm as Northwood arrived at 3pm due to major accidents.

Wasn't any better tonight going home from Tamworth - even going anti-clockwise, we copped a stop/start session around Heathrow after an accident!
