A huge thank you

....to everyone who came down to Stag Meadow to help out this evening. All faces I know but not necessarily names so apologies for not listing everyone individually. I know Marcus and Charlie were two but everyone was an enormous help. I know Roy was extremely grateful. Please stick your names up on here so everyone can see who's helped out.

 

There's been a lot of people working very hard all day and tonight we moved a massive amount of stuff from the boardroom and around the clubhouse to the opposite corner of the ground as well as tidying up and preparing various bits of the car parking area. I know now why I don't do a manual job!

 

I'm sure Walsall fans will enter the ground and look around in disbelief but regular visitors to Stag Meadow will apprecaite how smart it looks when they get there tomorrow and that's due to the efforts of lots of people, not least of all those people who were there tonight.

I was one of the faces you wouldn't have put a name to - shifting bar stools, crates and chairs (and avoiding the tyres!).

 

Only able to help for a short while, but glad to be able to do my bit.

I would like to add my thanks to all the helpers from Windsor....you made the day magic for us too !!! ...Inc Malcolm who told me not to worry !

 

Vic and Jock made it into the Telepgraph today issue monday 15th Nov ...don't forget Sue who always welcomes the slough lot with a cup of tea and a biscuit ! steve sally and alan....champions and all the other helpers..
