from what ive herd the new guy from gravesend will start and hes only on loan at the margate and CK has compared him to sam sodje (quote hes like a small sam sodje)

 

And in sort of unrelated news mitten is wellings new kepper.

A tall Sam Sodge would be better to correct our aerial deficiences at the rear.

 

I can see the comparison though as i also saw he seems to collect suspensions,and has those 'red mist 'moments.

 

As for the team, assuming that Oates remains unfit, i feel the 'experiment' of Benevides and Charam. at wing/full back must end .

These guys simply are not defenders and it is unfair on them.

 

With Benevides general improvement, it seems a double waste to play him deep, as it weakens defence and then also loses the surprise factor of his sometimes skillful play in advanced midfield and the odd goal or two of which he seems increasingly capable.

 

I would go for this team, although CK will never play it.

Now that looks well balanced to me, and Clarke and Benevides can give additional cover for Bouadji and Annon in the wide defensive roles.

I know i will be unpopular but Bill Edwards is struggling for form at the moment,and is a bit one dimensional as when on form he is ok but is only really ok as sweeeper which limits the options considerably

 

Either Edwards, Bouadji or Annon must play wide defence, with Barnett and Smith in the centre.

Worried about who will compete with Holdsworth in the air.

 

Maybe Ross Smith should man mark him.

 

Real secret is to cut off his supply aswell but still think our midfield is weak.However at least if we played 4 in midfield ,then we may match their midfield for numbers and give extra wide cover for the defenders.You have a better chance of cutting out supply at source

 

I fear CK will role out the same old team though with Charam. and Benevides at a 'wing back' position where they are just lost as they are not good enough to defend,but can'trealy add anything to midfield .Such a position is a complete waste of manpower and talent to me.

As far as I know, we've released Romauld, so he can't be on loan to you.
