It's gonna be a very tight game with lots of chances. Aldershot have got firepower but after last weekends result against Morecambe, it looks like they might be easily exposed in defence.

 

I'm gonna say a 2 all draw and then a 2-1 after extra time win back at the lane!

 

And hopefully Miller will get a right good kicking!

Hope the Shots try and play football this time rather than bringing down anyone with the ball.

 

Maclean will go for the penalty, but no Benno there this time to bring him down. Gavin and Wardy must be careful not to get sucked into that one.

 

Whenever we threatened their goal, bang the tackle would come in and Mints seemed at times to be playing three feet off the ground trying to save his ankles. But credit to them as they were fast and hard which helped them to success in the Conf.

 

We know that Miller has and still does hold onto the ball too long, so we should exploit that as they say he is about their best player.

 

You can’t predict this one and it will probably be by the one goal.

 

However it will be 1-0 to Canvey with Keeling the scorer.

 

Anyway. Aldershot want to concentrate on the league this time round don’t they!

very defensive first half.. we nick one against the run of play.. shots come out to play they way they can now.. we make the most of the extra space and tidy up 3 nil (goals 36mins, 75 mins and 89 mins.. ollie..keeling and greggors) in front of 2,895 people..

they hit the post twice and the bar once, potter makes 4 top saves and wardy hoofs one off the line.. but i could be talking [censored] and aldershot might win

Danny and Dominic to play a blinder keeping the shots at bay.

 

Keeling to get a late goal.

 

Shots to score early.

 

Greggors to keep being pushed in the back.

1 - 1 with a replay at the lane - crowd boosted by disgruntled Gravesend fans who want revenge on Miller.
