Well there you go then people. New goalkeeper Mr. Allaway who cost Leeds £200,000 five years ago. Played international (age group) football and is another exciting young prospect with some decent experience under his belt. Good luck for Saturday Shaun.

All the best for the future Jake.

Jake was a good keeper for us but was never OUR player. His loan time is up and Eddie thought it best to let him go before the cup game. Whatever his reasons, I'm very happy to trust Eddie on this as he has done a fantastic job for us in very difficult circumstances. Whincy was popular but was only ever with us on loan. We've got a new guy between the sticks tomorrow and is somebody with a strong pedigree, even if he didn't get the break at the top level. It is no disgrace to be third choice keeper behind Paul Robinson and Nigel Martyn.

I don't care! Jake was a very good keeper and if we had the chance to get him on contract we shoudl have jumped on it, our most important game for ages and we have a new keeper?????? Madness! Hopefully after a shut out 2moro i will be a fan of our new guy! But right now i am seriously concerned!

I can understand your concern Marcus, but I understand Shaun trained with the squad on Thursday so he and players won't be totally alien to each other. As for getting Whincy on contract, I don't think that could have happened. He is under contract at Hornchurch and with their predicament I can see him being their regular for the rest of this season. Another way of looking at it is would Eddie have picked whincy anyway? He's started Mike Parkin a few times this season might have done for this game too.

Give the guy a chance - I'm sure he realises that a lot is expected of him on his debut.

Whincup, for whatever reason, was obviously not to be. (Wouldn't Eddie have obtained him on contract if he could, and felt it appropriate, rather than only on-loan?).

Now we need to rally round and support Shaun instead...

Well BFR we will just have to see, im sure he must know his stuff if Denton is willing to do this, by the way Carbon to score first and slough win 2-1 is 420-1 at bet 365 ive got a couple of quid on it so Josias if you see this, there's a big bottle of whatever you want in it if you make it happen!

I've got a number of different bets placed. £2 each on Hodges, Harris, Haddow, Carbon and Daly to score first we all worth doing I thought. Obviously if the option was there I'd place a bet on Matty to score twice coming off the bench as it must be a dead cert. The Milf has spoken!
