Good article - shame Wilko did not manage to mention that it is tackling that he does best - but still nice to see a bit in a National.

In some respects, I can't wait. Nerves are kicking in already.

 

On the other hand, I'm dreading the attendance. I think we'll struggle to break 2000, and given the profile of the match and the opposition, that'll be quite embarassing IMO.

Given that I have just got back from Bar H having sold 8 tickets (one for my cousin) in three hours, I know what you mean. But I think we have already broken th 2,000 mark. We just need to make it clear to everyone:

I'm away working so I can't volunteer much help. but has someone contacted Star FM? They have a big audience in the area, largely composed of young people, many from Asian families, but - as far as I know - don't pay us much attention (if any). But they are usually willing to give air-time to local stories and they don't come much bigger than ours at the moment. 01753 55 1066 for the newsdesk.

They actually got in touch with us which was quite surprising as new people are now running the station and they were quite keen to get involved with match reports and scores from the club. I know they did an interview with Roy last week as well, so let's just see if it continues after the 'big' game.
