If there is a shortage of strikers, for whatever reason, what's happened to Taffy Islam ? Last I heard he was at Erith on loan ?

Or has he become another one of the "disappeared on loan" brigade....never to be seen again ? Wouldn't it be worth recalling him ?? Even if he replaced AN Other on the subs bench in Gary's team ?

As stated a number of times you cannot recall a player in the first month of his loan.

 

However, I'm sure that Matt Lovell could easily masquarade as Mr Other and the ref won't be any the wiser.

On BBC Ceefax, Andy has said he still doesnt know whether Lee Shearer will go permanently to Dover. He is quoted as saying "Despite what people have said, its not personal - it was a footballing decision".

Dave - according to the Footymad site, he went on loan on 19 Oct, so month was up yesterday - on that basis, I wonder if Andy will simply have decided to bring him back, rather than extend the loan??

I went by Confguide, but I suspect that is the date that I told him rather than the date of the loan.

 

Then again Footymad has Popovich as a loan player which I know is wrong.

Err why was it a footballing decision? I thought he was playing better this season than last,
