campaign to bulid a new stadium for 'Fleet, following on from Brian's statement earlier in the week.....so looks like it's all taking off.

I wonder what caused the change of heart, perhaps the fans boycott of the Reporter was working.

Before anyone points it out - I was slightly misquoted in that. I said the stadium would likely seat 20,000, not that Gillingham get 20,000 fans. And I said that we're pushing 2,000 fans, not that we'd only get that 'on a good day', but that aside it's an excellent basis for a campaign, so well done the Reporter!!

I did notice that but assumed that the Reporter had cocked up the quote !! We can't expect them to get it all right can we ?

WELL DONE ot the reporter fantastic report.

Its the right thing to do and i will send the form back.

I use to be a Gills fan as i am sure some of you know but since May last year my main team has been The Fleet. Scally lives in a dream world and will always will.

This seems unlikely, given that Fleet fans only make up one or two per cent of the population of Gravesham.

Still, well done to the Distorter anyway - whatever the reason for the change of heart, as you call it (although I have to say I haven't seen this week's Distorter yet).

I wonder if the board had anything to do with the reporters change of heart. They are supposed to be a sponsor after all, if I was Mr Killcullen I certainly wouldn't have been too pleased with them after their reports over the last month or two.
