[Margate Football Club]

Following ten months of negotiations between the Club, Thanet District Council and the Clubs Development Partners, the Council’s Cabinet will tonight decide the final outcome for Margate Football Club.

 

The Club is confident that since 05 August 2004, when the Cabinet approved the scheme subject to further negotiations, all matters of dispute, which may have been cause for the project to fail, have been settled.

 

We look forward to making a further statement tomorrow.

"The Final Countdown". Am pig sick that I can't get there tonight as I have to work till 9. Will be hoping all day that this time our dreams will come true. Its been a long time, so please please give us the go-ahead T.D.C.this time. Am sure its not going to be a straight forward meeting but then again it may well be. Will be back on here hoping for news, good news, fingers crossed, tonight when I get home. Good luck everybody.

my gut is turning over like a washing machine on spin dry at the moment fingers crossed and lets hope the MFC & TDC can finaly sort this out and we can get home were we belong.

Has Matt Davidson at Radio Kent been updated as to what is going on. He has been a good supporter of the club over the years with the coverage (despite being a Spurs fan) and any publicity from him might be welcome and not just from the Exiles point of view.

I trust council realise the deep seated passion there is for this scheme.

Praying for the positive final outcome with no further caveats.

Similarly, i hope someone will be able to post an early unofficial reply tonight for us loyal exiles.
