Sorry Dave but living without football is driving me up the wall <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

Anyway a boy's got to have his hobbies.

I'm considering a new formation involving a bl**dy great moose playing as sweeper in front of a three man back four.

Oh dear I may have to declare myself a m**se free zone

As promised today's topic is smilies those little pictures that tend to end up at the bottom of posts.

Smilies are actually intended to convey emotions in a medium where there is only the written word and it is difficult to tell whether someone is joking on not, so the smiley was invented.

Anyway!!!! As you can see there are a few smilies that you can use in the bottom left hand corner of the screen when you type a message, and I suspect that as the software is upgraded there will be more. In the meantime if you want to use additional images, you have to use an outside source. The one that is currently being used is Longdog (click on the name to open the site)

To place one of these images in your post, you must copy the whole of the name beside the image that you want to use. (Highlight the whole phrase, and then select "Edit" "Copy"

Back on your posting, you must select the image button from the list just below where your are typing, and then insert the phrase into the box that opens at the top left.

(Make sure that when you have done this the http:// is not repeated) and press OK. If you have done this correctly the image will appear when you preview the post.

You can then complete your posting with your selected image.

ONE WORD OF WARNING!!!!!!

There is one image that is guaranteed to have your post deleted.

Do not use it!!!

You will know which one I mean when you go to longdog.

I hope this is clear, but if not don't be afraid to ask questions <img src="http://www.longdog.org.uk/smilies/jaw.gif" alt=" - " />

The one we can't use (lol) - wouldn't be the one with all those swear-words in it?

I mean, we could save that one for next seasons refs!

Or we could rename it 'in honour of Jeff King'.
