Isn't it typical of ceefax

Have just checked Ceefax and teletext fixtures for Saturday, ITV has the correct kick of at 14:00. BBC has no time listed so people will assume 3:00 pm. Which channel is match of the day on?

Might be worth sending them an email, or even ringing them. It's early enough in the week for it to be changed. (Just spent 15 mins hunting the BBC website for an appropriate email address for you to use, or indeed any form of contact regarding Ceefax content, but without luck. Sorry.)

 

BTW - the BBCi web page showing the FA cup fixtures has the correct time.

Martin and I made a point of telling everybody who bought a ticket from us last night that it is a 2pm kick off as well. Most knew already but there were some who didn't and you can envisage them arriving at 2.30 having missed a load of the game

Yes we did the same at the stag. Most people were resident in Windsor so knew parking was an issue, but were not going to be affected. Several thought it was a 3:00 kick off. We stressed 2:00 kick off and no parking in the road leading to the ground for anyone (including residents) or in the normal fans car park/allotments

I know it's common sense (but common sense isn't that common) but on Sunday we were teling people who bought the family tickets that they had to enter the ground together!

Why can't residents park outside their own house and where will they be able to park?

The plods want clear access to the ground for emergency services. The residents have been written to by the plods and the club to ask for their co-operation, with parking details given to them

What happens if I leave my car on the road. They can't move it surely?

of course they can. Nobody has the automatic right to park their car outside their house (unless you have one of the very rare and strange freeholds that own part of the highway). The parking is already residents restricted. The police have the right to make any road no parking on a temporay basis . In this case they can simply modify the parking restrictions for the day, and if your car is there it will be towed.
