Full back position

Not fashionable i know to call them full backs these days-gues that went out with George Cohen, but this wing back thing just does not work at this level.

No disrespect at all, but players are trying to emulate the likes of Ashley Cole and are simply not good enough.

In fact, i'm not sure wing backs work at any level of the game.

 

As it appears that Oates is sidelined for a few more weeks, and Green obviously out, would'nt it be good if we could get a decent full back like Searle or Mustafa from Hornchurch for a months loan while they sort other clubs out who can afford the wages they will seek.

From the little i understand and or read, it appperars that Bouadji is more of a central defender than wide defender

Get 'em on loan from Hornchurch? Id expect they'd be trying to off load there players at the moment. Now could be the time to try and steal away some of their talent.

Think Ben Martin is a central defender-at 6'7'' must be good in air.!!

Don't know where he went after Farnborough/Swindon-i expect he is somewhere in the Ryman League

That would be a blinding idear but are we in a postion to do that yet?
Problem is i guess till wensday we arnt likely to sign any one due to the fact that we are in just as bad a situation as hornchurch.
